Shopping for mom can be hit or miss if you don’t have a good guide to start with. . If you are like me you have a hard time knowing what to buy Mom during the holiday. Moms are very sentimental creatures and in most cases it’s the thought that counts. Personalized or Hand Crafted Gifts may be the way to go. I’ve seen some of these lists with underwear as a present. Dude I don’t know about you but underwear shopping for your mom strikes me as kind of creepy.
Like most of us, I don’t have much time for Arts and Crafts, and really Arts and Crafts are so kindergarten. Personalize gifts always great and says, Mom I thought about you when I bought this gift. But really if I buy my Mom another personalized coffee mug I think she’d kill me. Guess what time it is? It’s the holiday already, it seemed like only yesterday was Christmas I was unwrapping a new Sony DSC-W110. It wasn’t the best Camera in the world, but it sure served its purpose and it more than paid for itself ten times over. The best part of it was I got it from someone I loved. Fast forward Christmas 2009, if you are in the gift giving mood, these are some of the gift that I would love. Nah Just Kidding!!

While trekking through the internet I came across some pretty cool websites. From what I’ve read there is a growing market. The market I speak of is for people who are willing learn the ropes of video game testing. Ever since I saw the movie Grandma’s Boy, I wondered if Video Game Beta Tester really existed.
From what I’ve gathered, Game Testers are the people that play games for a living. While their jobs sound like a dream come true for gamers, they do not make as much money as other gaming jobs, like programmers. Testers will push new games to the limits and log any bugs or glitches that they come across. Game testers will need special training in computers, such as languages or basic computer hardware and software skills, as well as good communication skills. …
